Theres a derelict 1465 on a friends farm which might be had cheap. I understand it was a Fiat built unit and parts availability doesnt seem too bad. Doesnt seem like a bad deal considering anything I own has less then 1/2 the horsepower of it. Would like any opinons, horror storys etc with these. Thanks!

The Fiat/Olivers started with the "50" series- 1250, 1350, 1450- there were some problems with that series, but the later 55 and 65 series are good tractors, from what I hear. Fairly big local farmer has a 1465, he says its great.

Had one of thease tractors. Never had any trouble with it. Was the best tractor on fuel I ever owned.

My neighbor has a white 2-60 that was built by Fiat. I have used it a good bit, and it is a TOUGH little tractor. It uses very little fuel as well. I don't think they are worth a ton of money, but if you were going to use it, it could be a very economical tractor.
