Sure, my fuel cost are going up But..... .

I know where my wife, kids, and family are
I know they are alive
I have food water and clothing
We will sleep in our own beds tonight in the comfort of our own home

Many in the path of the huricane lost everything.
Everything.....

The complaining on this board seem petty in comparison.
Our complaining does not feed, clothe, or comfort them one bit.
What are we Doing to help them?
Who was it said "I complained because I had no shoes till I saw a man who had no feet"

Someone else can have the soap box now.

The ridiculus price of gas is set aside in my mind today because of what you are saying;my family is safe, Im not in water fighting for my very survival.Last night at my union meeting[commie spear in the heart of America meeting for you political right wingers] a large sum of money was appropriated to send to help. Many will also help by going to restore power.Im proud to be in the IBEW today.Everyone have a good and safe labor day.

You're right...
I remember an old man in Vietnam - all he owned, besides the clothes on his back as a small brass tea pot. He slept in an empty 55 gal drum with one end cut out.
But... that's the problem in America - hardship is for someone else - not me!! It's time we all asked ourselves - with a serious heart - well, why not me?
