"do not buy gas 9/01/2005"

Thanks for telling us how stupid you are, that is all you have or will accomplish.

I have heard calls for boycotting buying gasoline stations for a while now. Unless significant numbers of people take steps to reduce gasoline use long term, not buying gasoline for a day is like p*^%ing in the wind. Really want to stick it to them?, carpool and drive a Geo Metro to work instead of a Suburban. If enough people would do that, the problem will take care of itself.

Sorry. A boycott does no good.
Now if you would say "don't drive" on such and such a day, that could help.

For your information, I am preparing to go to a family reunion. And part of those preparations invovle filling my gas tank. If all goes as according to plan this will be done 9/01/2005. If this is a warning I thank you for your effort. But as of now I see no reason to change any of my plans.

The price will create a glut of gas in the future.
