I only have about 7 acres to mow but I'm sure tired of wrenching my neck around to see what's going on behind me. It's not that "I don't know" what's taking place. I'd simply prefer to see.

I run a MF F-40 with a 72" finishing mower or a 60" bush hog if I let it get too tall.

I see almost everybody in MD with credit running those Z-turn mowers and they're all out front... I'd understand I'd loose the lift, but my finishing mower is on four wheels anyway. I'm pretty familar with Cub's with belly mowers and the like - just thought something directly in front makes sense.

Has anyone seen this done? It seems like pretty simple engineering..

Jim

Why not look for a used golf course rough mower? The decks are truly out front with the power plant in the rear and we have some at work that are all wheel drive as it becomes necessary. There are some on e-bay from time to time. Toro and John Deere are 2 good brands.
