I was given a Wheel Horse A-100 from my uuncle a little while back that he wanted to scrap. After a few hours of work my fater and I got it running and driving. I decided this was a tractor worth keeping but would like to fix it right. The tractor has no brakes, and after studying them I decided it needs a sort of brake pad. If anyone knows where I could get one please email me ASAP. I have been looking for one for a couple of months with no luck. I also need the belt guard that attaches to the top of the mower deck. I would appreciate ANY help.

I seen a new brake pad for a wheel horse on ebay the other day for a few bucks. I"m sure your local Garden tractor dealership should be able to at least order one for you if they don"t have one in stock.

I looked on ebay and could not find a brake pad. I have an A-100 which I cannont find any parts for. Also I have called 3 garden Tractor Dealerships with no luck. Do you know somewhere specific to call or no a specific seller on Ebay that is selling one?

Glen, Call these dealers back and see if they can can get you part number 799021 under Peerless, that should not be too difficult for them, that is a common brake pad set used on almost all Peerless transmissions. For future use, you can look up parts for this little critter at www.toro.com
Depending on the year you have the model numbers are:
1976- model 62-10BP01
1977- model 72-10BP01
You can try to find a deck belt cover 105475, it is no longer available from Toro, but if you look around you might find one or go to Yahoo groups, wheel horse classified.
