I'm having trouble with the knotter on my 310. The right knotter is tying sloppy knots that you can pull apart. It also will cut the twine about an inch behind the knon at times. I've replaced the knife arm, twine tension spring and holder but still no help. Any adivce?

Check the easy stuff first. Pull on string coming out of box. There should be same resistance on both strings. Sometimes dirt gets under slide or even agrove wears in time an does not put enough resistance on twine.

It sounds to me that your twine finger on the right side might need some attention. Had the same problem on a NH compact 65 baler. Once I coreected the timing and tolerance on the right twine finger..... . haven't missed a knot yet.... the baler manual should have the timing and the tolerance for the twine finger.. if not e-mail me and I'll send you what my NH baler manual said. I believe all of the timing and tolerances are the same....
