I have a hard time reading the tranny/hydrolic fluid on the dipstick. It is too clear. Is there such thing as a dye that you can add to make the stuff more visible?

My eyes are not the same as when I was 20, along with other things. I sometimes lay the dip stick on a paper towel. this leaves a real good mark to tell the level.Saves not messing with dye. Stan

Yes, a dye is available. Several OEM's dye the oil in new machines so leaks can be easier to identify. Cat, JD and CaseIH did sell the stuff. Not sure now, because dye visible by black light is now the rage. Call a dealer.

Paint the blade of the dipstick !!!

Or, file a notch on each side of the blade at the full mark.
