Morning everyone, it seems that it is never too late to change ones mind. Elmer ,my dad, at age 90 just bought a new pickup. He was disgusted that no plain models were offered..... He bought a Chevy 1500 wt but since it had a radio and air it was too fancy for him.....(Elmer does not believe in extras) Yesterday while out watching Big brother combine oats, Elmer looked so hot when I went by that I turned the air on in his pickup. He said he didn't need it but as soon as the cool air began filling the cab he said...."say, that's alright' in a few minute he had his windows up and was enjoying the 100 degree weather. He even came over and made sure he knew how to turn the air on..... ...so, it is never to late. Enjoy your air conditioning everyone.....

I stopped at my Mom's one hot day and offered to take her to town to get groceries. I had just gotten a new 1969 company car with AC. She really liked that air conditioning, so the next week I bought her a large window AC and installed it so she could stay comfortable in the house during hot weather.
