Mornin' All,

What? Weather channel says the rains will come tonight and tomorrow morning for western Nebraska. 80% chance of rain and will amount to 1/2 an inch.

Seems to be a pretty darned gutsy and definite forecast there. Are we talking 'bout the same Nebraska here? :>(

What the heck. Guess I'll chance it and go stick a disc in the ground this morning. That ought to bring all this silly talk to an abrupt end. :>)

Hi Mark,

Lots and lots of guys have hay down. 'Spose that is what prompted this silly forecast. :>)

I'm tryin' to stick alfalfa in the ground using a fall plant without a nurse crop. Wonder if I'll get lucky and it'll take?

All depends on the rain, they say. Hmmmmm

Nuttin ventured nuttin gained is what my grandpappy used to say. Go fer it.

Was thinking about planting some peas in this new hay patch I just got plowed up for the same reason as your alfalfa.
