Been working on the wife's dump truck this weekend. The motor was lightly stuck but a little P.B.Blaster in the cyls and a breaker bar fixed that. The starter wire had to be replaced but now it cranks but then no spark. Cleaned up all connections to coil, sparkplugs, cleaned and filed nasty points and got spark. Poured a little gas in the carb and the puppy ran for about 4 seconds. Pretty smooth too!! Gotta replace the hoses and put coolant in but all in all I'm pretty happy.

Doggonit feller, there"s lots of fellers on here, me included that would like to have your wife do our buying for us. The last truck I bought I ended up overhauling, and it just wasn"t worth it. She does lots better than that. Glad for ya"ll, Harley

Hey Harley I just seen the tip of the iceberg on this puppy so it just might cost a whole lot more. I'm thinking the wife just wants to keep me busy chasing parts.

If'n I were John I would have the lucky wife pull the pan to see if there are gold coins stuck in the suction screen.

Yea, but then I prolly wouldn't have my lucky wife anymore. She might just go off and be lucky with somebody else that doesn't make her pull pans !! Couldn't have that.
