Has anyone heard of this non stick type paint? Possibly Slip plate or maybe I am thinking of something else. Supposed to be like a non-stick frying pan. Some of the Cub Cadet guys were using it on their snowblowers and underside of mowerdecks to prevent the snow and grass from sticking. I told my boss about it tonight and he's interested, but I forgot what its called and where to get it. Please help!

Mike,
It's called Slip Plate, and some dealers have it. Bought my last can at Main & Pinckney in Auburn.
I thought it would do better on the mower deck and the snowblower too, but it didn't really impress all that much.

Could you be talking about Graphite paint like they use on the inside of gravity wagons and such. I don't have the exact name here in front of me but, it has graphite in it and is a dark grey color. I have some at the shop. I'll look to see what the name is. Tractor Supply stores carry it.

I believe it will be difficult to paint over it without sand blasting or removing it some how.

I am not sure why you would want to paint over it? The idea of the stuff is to make a non stick surface for stuff to slide off. If paint would stick to it you would no longer have the non stick surface. What would be the point of using it in the first place?
