I made a box of Hamburger HelperŪ for the kids tonight. On my (Canadian) box, it says it is imported, by General Mills Canada Corporation. Since you tractor people are the most knowledgeable in the world, I thought I'd ask imported from where????? ???

The company I work for make some ingrediants for hamburger helper and were located in Michigan. I believe all hamburg helper products are made and packed in the US.

LOL!

But the model # is really all we need. Now if we start gettin into hamburger helper and tuna helper then that serial # will be mighty handy. Can't pinpoint the problem if there's a serial number break and we don't know which one you have. In the end, we probably don't have the information in stock and will have to order it from another warehouse. Should be in sometime next week. Terrible, I've only been workin parts counter for 7 weeks and already have the language down. ha ha God bless.

I have a box here in the states that says "Distributed by General Milles Sales, Inc." and "General Offices, Minneapolis, MN 55440 USA" and finally most importantly "Made in U.S.A." So if yours says imported I assume it was imported from here.

Well my box has the same address for the home office and says Dist by but I can not find anything that says Made in the USA anywhere on the box.

Most likely made in China; Boxed in Mexico with the language of your choice; Sent to the US for distribution world wide.

Stickler: Problem here is because the package has to be labled in two official languages, that doesn't leave room for all pertinant information.

Canadian government in it's wisdom has decided information like where it came from, additives, preservatives, etc. just don't matter. As a taxpayer and voter you get exactly what you deserve. Maybe it's time to speak up and remind our elected representatives who elected them, taxpayers or the corperate world.

Remember it suits processors just fine if they don't have to give source of raw materials, what nasty chemicals they use to give this junk shelf life.

Oh man, am I with you on the two language thing.

I wasn't old enough to vote for the &^$%@$#'s that came up with that one! And we all know it's much easier to pass a law than to get one repealed, especially since our elections are already decided before the polls close here, so our votes don't count anyway.

Hey careful, that hits awfully close to home. I was bringing tractor parts in through there and not hurting anybody.
