My neighbors call me Bulldog Bonnie because I have a couple of English Bulldogs,so naturally when I went to this estate sale I purchased a Lanz Bulldog tractor,Im not sure what year it is,or if it runs. The tires are flat.I paid 50 dollars for it.The man that hauled it home for me said it was about to break his trailer. What should I do with it now?

Sounds like you got yourself a buy.

I don't know how many are in the US but it can't be many. If it's old enough, you might have one the runs on crude oil. Snap some pics and post them here. I'd be very interested in seeing it.

According to my Deere history book - Lanz was bought out by John Deere in 1956. The Bulldog was built from 1921-1960 219,253 Bulldogs were built

a google search found me this site ->Link

As>Link to what you should do with it, that's your decision. If you're so inclined, restore it or find someone who can. If not, sell it. I'll bet it's worth a bit more than a hundred. If you're looking for a huge conversation piece, put it in your living room ;P

You should sell it to me for $100, thereby doubling your money and making both of us happy. Please tell me where to come and pick it up.

Well, I would say that a number of people could keep doubling their money before it sells at its real value. Those are rare on this side of the ocean and quite sought after.
