Where does everybody buy their Oil Seals at? I got sick and tired of dealing with Napa. Our local bearing supplier, Applied Industrial Technologies, is the pits to deal with. They seem like they don't care if they have my business or not.

I have found a few online sites to buy seals, One of them saved me about 40% over what napa quoted.

WWW.Autopart.com for National Oil seals.

Does anybody have a good source for CR seals?
Does anybody have a preference. CR or National?
Thanks.

We use Motion Industries here. Another one have used too that has a site. www.awbearings.com
Usually no choice on brand as long as it fits and works use it.

I have to agree with Davis. Bearing Distributors branch in Charlotte is where we do 99.999% of our business. I used to use Applied years ago when I was working for another company simply because that's where they had their account. When they closed their local store and became basically a mail order house I carried my business elsewhere. Other than some really old, odd ball stuff that nobody was making anymore Bearing Dist has never let me down.

Years ago, the old Dixie Bearings here was great to deal with... Then Applied Tech. bought them... They notified us that they would no longer sell to us, since we spent less than 10,000.00 a year from them... (Much less, LOL). If you are in the Southeast, Bearing Distributors, Inc , is a great outfit to deal with. Our local branch is great, they are happy to fill a small order, I try to promote them all I can.

Applied tech is good to deal with here. Give em the dimensions and they will get me a seal. Or cross it if the old one has a number on it.

The last seals I got were from Marine World, but that shows you how long ago that was. They have a moritorium on them now and you have to go all the way to the Gallopagos Islands now and catch them yourself. What a pain. :-) Harley
