One of these days I'll get on to the Allan NE thing and learn how to run my wife's digital camera. Then I'll learn to post and then you can have your pictures.

For Hooters direct try www.hooters.com

I really like it when your "woman" gets out there with you and does the ag thing.

But what I don't like is when I need to recrocate (show my appreciation for her help and companionship) and help her with the house work...Yuck!!!!! !

Had an electrical storm Friday and power naturally went off in the house.

Said the heck with it and took the wife out to eat and to a movie.

Wanted something different so I took her to the local Hooters Restaurant. Never been there before....honest.

Great scenery, super service, and wonderful food at a very reasonable price.....we'll be back....and she agreed.

Course I couldn't help but cut a couple of side glances at the scenery; I mean shucks, I'm just human. Grin

The pic didn't post....at least not on my computer.

Hey ya Mark. A couple of years ago, was in Richardson for training. On the way to the airport I stopped at a Hooters in or around Dallas, and just happened to be wearing a Blackhawks jersey. I noticed one of the gals, very hot too, kept staring at me (at me!!!), and finally she came over and asked who I thought the best goalie in the league was. The Hawks had just traded Ed Belfour to the Dallas Stars, and they'd just won the Stanley Cup, and I figured she wanted to rub it in, and asked "Eddie The Eagle". Nope, she said Dominick Hasik of the Buffalo Sabres (another Hawk great traded away so another team could win the Cup). She knew her hockey. My point Mark? She brought me over a Hooters Girls calender, which gave me an idea. I got the manager to come over, look at his hot little goalie fan, and suggested that he get Hooters to let her pose in skates, knee pads, Hooters shorts and jersey, and put her in front of the Stanley Cup Dallas Stars net with a goalie stick...and the calender picture of the century, if you ask me. But like the late Rodney Dangerfield, no respect. He didn't go for it. Hope they fired him. LOL.

Yeah I hear you. I really like the atmosphere in there (besides the waitresses). Course I wanted a cold mug of beer too but didn't want to go thru the games we play here in Tx. with dry counties.

And I have developed a fond taste for clam chowder. At work it was always the soup of the day on Fridays so I got used to it. I'll give it a try.....but a soupspoon, a soupspoon of Tabasco....I'm breaking out in a sweat just thinking about it....would really need a mug of beer to wash that down. Grin.

I hear ya on the dry county thing. I reside in the wettest little dry county in Texas. We only have about 17 private clubs now, in a county of 33,000 residents, but supposedly we're dry. Its always a big battle here wth the TSBFLA every time someone applies for a permit or zoning for alcohol sales.

Where abouts e're ya in my beloved Texas?

You gotta be talkin' about Erath county, no?

Went to TSU years ago and the first thing I learned was where Proctor was.

Hey Mark,

Yeah, I knew you were in Collin Co. I was wondering if L.C. was talkin' about Erath Co.

Are you finally gettin' some rain up there? We got around 1.5" last Thursday and a few tenths yesterday. A blessing for the pastures, but a curse for the maize that has fallen down and in need of harvest now.

Take care.

Yes on him talking bout Erath Co. and Yes on the H20.

It starter around the 1st and has rained several times with rain in the forcast now. Great, but a little late to help the current hay crop. Might just cut it and hope the next cutting gets more water.

Good yakin

Twas said that the town (?) was named for a country schoolhouse teacher who told the boys to keep their frogs outta-da-school (1 room). But, who knows. The area was settled originally by Scotts as there are (were) a lot of Mc this and Mc that around here. Had there been more French settlers, the name of the town may have been Frogneaux instead. LOL
