Getting ready to go on vacation in August to Branson MO., traveling from NE KS. and was wondering if there were any ag type museums or points of interests along the way or in the Branson area that anyone might know of. Thanks in advance.

Lambert's Cafe at Ozark, MO. "Throwed Rolls," fried okra, black-eyed peas, macaroni & tomatoes, & fried potatoes.

Then you get your order.

If you don't get your belly full, you didn't try.

There is a toy museum on one main strip of Branson and I thought the Ripley's Beleive it or not was rather interesting too. I second the caverns being a good place to visit.

Jon, there used to a toy tractor museum in Branson the last time I looked it wasn't where it used to be, but it may have moved. They had quite a collection. They had one thing I would love to have it was a Massy Harris Clipper Combine, 7 ft. pull type . My Dads first combine was one. Have fun I haven't been down there since Alice died, she worked at Fanstic Caverans North of Spfd, so we got in to a lot of things free. The caverans are a worthwhile trip also.

North of Joplin in the neighbor hood of 43 highway and baseline road you will find a place called Miller Implement. It is not so much a museum as a personel collection. I can not begin to start to tell what all they have but in my opinion it is well worth the time to go see. It has been a couple of years since I have been there but as it has been in the family for years and the guy told me it will be there for his kids when he is gone I am sure it is still there.

Sid, Miller's still there. All those tractors setting out in the elements is kind of sad, but you can see a lot of 'em. Jon, since you are from NE KS, you probably have already been to the Ag Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs a few times already. Too bad you're not going in September. Could stop by the tractor show in Republic, MO on the 14-16, then come back through Ft. Scott, Ks on the 22-24 for another tractor show. Have fun down there in the Ozarks.
