Need to know if live PTO can be added to a AC D14 tractor and if so..... .ballpark price range? Also, is this a difficult job with the AC?

You have live pto with the Power Director middle position (hand clutch). If you want independent pto- that is not available.

Here's the procedure- put power director in neutral (middle position); depress foot clutch and put PTO and transmission in gear; release foot clutch, and PTO will start; push (or pull) power director, and tractor forward motion will start. Works great once you get the hang of it- I learned to bale on one, actually liked it better than two stage clutch.

Yep, I agree.... With the transmission driven PTO You have a "PANIC BUTTON" in the form of the clutch pedal that stops PTO & forward motion. You may have to adjust Your driving a bit to put both PTO & tractor in motion on some jobs, but on a D-14 with the hand clutch with Hi & Lo You should be able to run a baler, bushhog, etc. fine.
