Remember when it was a balmy 21 degrees?
Is it hot in your neck-o-the-woods?

The way I look at it...

You can always put on more clothes if you are cold.

If you are hot there are only so many clothes you can take off before people call the authorities.

I would much rather have the heat instead of the cold. At least in the summer the tractor starts and you don't have to thaw out the water pipes and drinking cups in the barn.

No such thing as too hot. I'll take 90 degree temps any day as opposed to 21 and snow.

OOOH.... not me! If it gets above 70 - it's to hot! MUCH rather have it about 55-60 year round. That heat just about kills me!

Yup! Odd thing - people turn thier A/C down to 68 in the summer to be comfortable - and turn thier furnace UP to 78 in the winter to be comfortable. Shouldn't it average out to about 73 year round? 8^)

I am with you there. I keep my house about 68-70 in the winter (PUT ON A SWEATER AND SOME SLIPPERS IF YOU ARE COLD!---me, after hearing the kids complain that we need to turn up the heat), and the a/c in the summer is at 73. I just can't stand the humidity! I guess people are thinking that if they get too hot in the winter, they can go outside to cool off, and reverse in the summer. Whatever.

When it's 40 below fahrenheight common sense kicks in and you stay inside if possible. At 90 that same common sense doesn't always prevail. By the way i've never seen 108 degrees in my life. Do see 40 below a few times every year though. don't like either.
