I am considering buying a Jubilee Ford tractor and want to know if anyone has had any experience with reliability of this model. Also I would like to know the horse power. And what a fair price would be for one in medium shap runs and pulls a plow but looks a little rough. 6 things come with it plow, blad, brush, hog, bucket on the back, disk, yard rake. Are parts easy or difficult to get. How much trouble is it to convert the 6 volt system to 12 volt system

Check out my website on my Project tractor by the link below if you want to see how tough the NAA (Jubilee) tractors are. They can take quite a beating and come back strong with a little TLC. New parts are still available, and cheap. They are rated at about 35 hp, but really have around 29 usable hp after it travels through the tranny and PTO. Fair price is tricky, because it varies by demand and location. Here in North Texas I would say a fair Jubilee with all the implements listed would go for around $3500 or so. Converting to 12v is not to difficult, but not needed unless you have 12v accessories you need to run.

Good luck,
Dan

Dan,
Fantastic job - great documentation - you should think about a "How To" book on the restoration.

Thanks for the kind words. I will be the first to say it is not a true restoration though. Those guys that do that are to be commended. I am however, trying to do a very good refirbishment and hope to end up with a NAA in excellent mechanical shape that isn't too hard on the eyes as well :) I have tried hard though to ensure the correct parts are installed and no unusual "modifications" are made. Ultimately, this tractor will replace my 8N workhorse at my 42 acres performing mowing duties and anything else that is needed.

Here is a link to my first project, and the one that got me hooked on Old Iron.
