We have corn up to our armpits and still are planting soybeans. Are we crazy thinking this bean crop will make it yet.

All depends on where you are; around "here", cut-off date to make a full crop is June 20th. Supposedly you lose one bushel per day after that..... .IN AN AVERAGE YEAR. Most farmers who double-crop behind wheat hope to be through by July 4th..... .....

i didnt know if i wanted to plant an 80 to beans or forage. last week i decided to go with beans. so i planted it and never check on it until 5 days later. and the beans were coming out of the ground and breaking off! so i hurried up and started the pivot. i will have to see how much i save or i may have to replant.

Several fields of beans are being replanted around here due to flooding out. Should still make a decent crop. Probably won't be a bin buster, but will still be worth your time.

We double-crop soybeans after wheat. They won't go in the ground for a good 7 to 10 days yet. They won't be 60 bushel beans, but they will make a crop.
