There has been a AC tractor I believe the model is a WC. Sitting at a horse ranch for a long time. I am sure it can be had for a song, or in my case for an hour discing. I know nothing about the rubber tire tractors. My AC thing is the AC model M crawler of which I have 10 of. So here is my question. Is this tractor worth messing with. It has been through several floods high as the top of the radiator' dip stick shows water in the oil. The trans may have some water also, with water being that high. Any input will be appreciated. Stan in calif.

I would stick with the AC M's. The WC is worth much even totally restored. That and the fact that they are not the least bit user friendly seems to make them less than resellable. I have had several and they were I guess better than working with a horse. Where and how have you been able to get 10 AC M's. I have one and can't find another. I am in Westren, Pa and I guess they just never sold well here.

The Model M was very popular out here on the west coast. My Dad farmed with them, and would buy them as they became available for parts. Dad is gone now, but I still have his original orchard model he bought new. I use them in my discing business, and also buy them when I can find one. Now they are gettinhg a little scarse. I just scrapped two of them. and sold another. Stan

Having been repeatedly flooded and not dried out is a bad sign. They corrode internally pretty quickly. The WC is a good tractor and if you want to add one to your collection it would be hard to get one much cheaper. How is the tin and rubber? May be that this would make a good parts tractor.

The rubber is like new, but has been in the sun for a long time. Sheet metal is fair. Are these a very desirable tractor to collect? Where is the serial number locted? Stan

The serial number is on the rear pumpkin... I don't think it is one to be too interested in. WCs are about the cheapest tractor to find in good restored condition. You will easily have way more in this tractor than it is ever close to being worth in my opinion. That flood silt really chews things apart fast if all isn't extreamly clean too. If you just want a fun project and it is REALLY cheap to buy have fun! For entertainment value it will be less than going to the movies every friday night.
