Does anyone know whether a 9N can adequately handle a Woods RM 90 finish mower? I think it's a 7'

It's a 90" mower. If all you are doing is clipping your lawn on fairly level ground it should be OK assuming the tractor is in good mechanical shape.Don't forget to put an overrun coupler on the pto,and maybe some front end weight.

I used to own a 9N and currently own an 84" finish mower. I did not have the 9N and mower at the same time and didn't try the combination but I don't think the 9N will handle it. Maybe if your lawn is flat and you don't let it get long at all. I think it will be all the tractor can handle in low gear in the best of conditions. Marginal at best. 60" would be better.

That would be plenty of mower for a 9N. You mabe could try it and see how it works. And you dont have to take a full cut if you get into taller stuff.
