I am trying to learn all I can about subject baler. It is online over a hundered miles away. I have been over a Massey Ferguson Model 124 from front to back and know it pretty well. I don't know diddle about a model 12. I should appreciate all the information that can be provided to me about this model. I have requested additional pictures, but I want to know what the baled hay community has to say about this Model 12 before I make a trip or move towards a commitment to purchase.
Thanks in advance for all the inuputs I may receive. Ed

I have been using one for several years now doing 4-6000 bales a year. I agree with most who have used them, parts are expensive and the knotters are just plain fussy. That said, it is quite a step up from the NH66 that it replaced and as long as I run it right at PTO speed it will produce 50-60lbs bales at 60-70 an hour. I intend to run mine many more years.

You will get much more response on Implement Alley Board; that is where all the baler experts hang out.
