I was wondering if anyone has experience
with this precast concrete column used below grade for construction of a
pole barn?

Link

Does anyone know the cost?
I have been searching the web and have not found suppliers displaying the cost.
Likely expensive, but wonder if the extra
cost is worth it. I imagine if it is still
less expensive than a footer, concrete block foundation and stick framing(and last as long), then it would be worth it. Any comments welcome and appreciated from those with construction experience.

I did just call a supplier. For the
sake of letting all of you know, the concrete
portion (without any lumber) is:
70.00 per part. This was for using
3, 6x6 lumber sections on top of the
column, making a 6 x 6 pole. I guess
a 10' section of lumber would give you a total of 15' to work with (in my area
that would be about 12' foot walls).
I'm guessing adding the lumber cost would bring the whole part to about 90.00 per pole.

My neighbor just built a building and it was recomended that he just bury the poles without any concrete around them. He claimed that the poles will last longer.
