no tricks to it,take the 414 out of the 1066 and bolt it to the 706 rear-(the rear engine cover will hang out about 3/4 of an inch on each side easily fixed with a grinder and a little time)
get the front cover off a truck and bolt to engine and make plates to go from the 2 outer holes on each side of the block to the frame rail.
get the radiator from the 1066.
throttle linkage from the 1066.
1066 clutch too, might want to do that first!
might be something that i'm forgetting, but that is pretty much it.

Are you saying a 282, 310 and 414 are all the same length, or they are not and it doesn't matter?

Search the archives on the pulling and Farmall boards here. This comes up all the time. For starters, the 414 is longer than both the 282 or 310 so the frame rails and hood are problematic. I think the rails are too narrow as well, but that may not be serious.
