Rent a queen bee costume, put it on and bang on the grain bin with a hammer at the crack of dawn. The bees will follow you anywhere you lead them.

Hey Sam, in most places its illegal to kill a swarm - not that it matters, but worth knowing.

Every state has a beekeepers association and usually there is someone who will come get them. Time is money, so be prepared to pay something. If the beekeeper can gain access to the hive, it is a relatively simple process - access is key. You need to get the queen and rest will follow.

Call your local beekeeper's association and see if you can get someone to help.

Regards, Tip

Well, around here the bee keepers usually take them for free; as long as they don't have to travel a long distance. Won't cost much to call around at least. In my experience, displaced honeybees tend to find a new, better home on their own within a couple of days if you wait em out.

Years ago when I was a bee keeper we would come out and remove them for free. But after an accendent with some bees I can no longer play with them. But as I said that was years ago not sure how they do it now. If its under a building they may not be where they can be removed. One thing you can do if there is only one or two places they get in is the fill the holes with that expanding foam, but do it at night when they aren't out flying much and be ready to take a few stings.

There almost has to be a guy around you who raises them. Sometimes these guys will come and remove a swarm for you.
