My neighbor has a Simplicity lawn tractor that gas is getting in the oil. No one has found out why. He showed me the manual which says that it is a 12.5 hp either 5212.5 H or 5216 H. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
Thanks

Most common cause is carb float setting...not closing needle valve, allowing raw gas to weep into the cylinder past the rings when not running.

Aloha, Not knowing the tractor, but if it has a mechanical fuel pump, maybe the diaphram is ruptured and is leaking into the crankcase.
