Howdy folks,

Well, a while back I posted about a job at a local IH dealer. I put in my resume etc. and gave 'em a call about a week later. They said that the position might be filled but that I should call back in a week or so. I figured it was lost but lo and behold they called me today askin to set up an interview. Well. I went down to Georgetown and talked to their parts guy (the job is in the parts dept.) Had a real good chat with him. Filled out some papers and did the usual thing. He asked when I could start. Said he had to talk things over with his boss up in Wilmington OH but said that he would tell him that he liked me a lot and would call me back tomorrow. I figure it is a done deal. It'll be really nice to have some income flowing in again. God bless.

You do realise that you are going to get about a million e-mail enquiries for obsolete unidentifiable parts and we all expect you to know exactly what we want and get it delivered yesterday! They will be specially re-routed to you from the YT forum!!

Congrats to both of you. Would think if the local guy gave the go ahead, the head office wouldn't object. Local guy knows more about the person than they do.
