My 8n did the same thing. Fellows over on the "n" board clued me in to the n series radiators being WAY over engineered and are easy to overfill. I was filling it to the top with coolant and when worked hard would spit coolant. Now I keep the coolant level down 3" or so from the top and have had no problems since. This may or may not be your problem, but cured mine.

JUST A THOUGHT-EVER REPLACE THE RADIATOR CAP? THEY HAVE TO MAKE A GOOD SEAL TO PRESSURIZE THE RADIATOR SO THE COOLANT DON'T BOIL AT TOO LOW A TEMP. MOST ARE MARKED AS TOO WHAT PRESSURE THEY ARE AND A TESTER IS AVAILABLE TO CHECK THEM, BUT THEY ARE SO CHEAP I USUALLY JUST BUY A NEW ONE.
