John Brillman of the Brillman Company, 2328 Pepper Road, Mt. Jackson, Virginia 22824 (Phone 540-477-4112) can probably help you. John has machinery from the late 1800s that is capable of reproducing cloth covered harnesses plus a selection of cloth covered wire. He specializes in wiring harmesses for antique tractors but may be able to supply wire and harnesses for other applications too. Give him a call.

I believe the old scool name for this wire is
Bellabestene.... I don"t know how much you need
but I would check an appliance repair place or a lamp shop. Pretty sure supply houses still have it also. Richard

Hello Dr. Sportster,

About how much of this wire are you looking for? I will be home for a family meeting over Memorial Day Weekend. My father (recently deceased) used to have a spool or two in the garage. I'll try to remember to take a look for it...along with a lot of other things that I am supposed to be looking for that family is wanting.

Jim
