The Bn is narrower. The N designates "narrow".

WOULD THE "BN" BE THE SAME AS AN "A" WITH A TRICYCLE FRONT END?

No. A has no left rear axle the tire is very close to the transmission. B and BN have same lenght rear axles on each side but each rear axle on a BN is 4" sharter than a B. All B's and BN's have narrow front end, either dual or single tire. All A's have wide front end. Dave.
