I am in need of a distributer for a six cyl. continental engine the one that goes down thru the head can onyone help me out, thanks

You did not say what model engine you have F, M or B. Also on the Jeep engines which are F226 engines they used a timing chain instead of timing gears so the distributor will be set up for the opposite rotation. Check it out. I deal with a place that was a very active Continental distributor. Many F models used in forklifts also.

You might want to check some of the Jeep restoration sights. The 1950/60s Jeep trucks and station wagons used the Continental flat heads. Just do a search for Jeep restoration, lots of them out there.

Watch for an old yellow M&M combine in the junk yards. They used it.

There is a 6 cyl. at my brothers but im not sure what condition it is in. If you arent in a hurry i may check on it with in the next few days. I think it came out of an old crane.Would that be a continital egine.I thought i saw the tag on it but it has been a long time.
