Anyone know anything about Rhino tractors? I came across one that seems to be a good deal, but I can"t find much about the tractor. I believe it is a model B224, 24 hp diesel, 4x4 with a loader. Any comments would be greatly welcome.

A Guy I worked for had a 60hp one and the transmission had been rebuilt twice, the injector pump rebuilt, the fuel pump replaced twice and the radiator had to be fixed just before he sold it. when he sold it it had 160 hours total run time on it. I think they are junk

I think you can still buy Rhino's under a veriety of names...

it was one of the chineese things that come over..

oh and when they change the name they dont have to honor the warrrenty... kinda like UNITED and pentions..

Since the union drove the United out of business the taxpayers get to pay the pensions they negotiated.

As for Rhino tractors - you get what you pay for. They are a step up from a garden tractor, but no way are you going to buy something for 1/3 the price of a John Deere or New Holland and have something that works as well. Link

Rhino tractors are great tractors. They are basic tractors without all the bells and whistles. I have a 35hp 3cyl. I have had it for 7 years and never had any problems other than normel maint. Now for the bad side. You need to be able to repair it your self. Because no one will work on it or know where to get parts. The paint is not that great and the castings are not nice and smooth. But hay It"s a tractor. Where else can you get a diesel tractor with 3pt. hitch, power steering, 4 wheel drive, for little money? If you buy it plan on keeping it forever. Because the resale value is low(remember you saved all that money when you bought it!) You can get any parts you need at Farmboystractors.com in Tenn. Great people to deal with. O ya there are Chinese tractor forums on the internet also. Some people on the forums even bash the antique tractors. They know people that broke one or wore one out. And thay don"t know where to get parts for a tractor that hasent been made for 60 years or so, by a mfg. that is not around anymore. But don"t be too hard on them.We all live in our own little worlds. I'd rather put the same money into a used Deere, 'Bota, IH, or Case. You can still get parets for these and they are built better and have a decent resale. just my $0.02.
