Fellows, I guarantee it will get worse before it gets better. But look around you, its not hard to find somebody who is in worse shape than you are. My dad used to say "Old age is hell, but its better than the alternative."

That's why I never joined a bass club when I used to fish..... go off and fish. Now I just feed my own and watch them.

I retired in Jan and have been busy every day doing what I want to do. Nice thing about that is that when you want to stop and "watch your fish eat" you can and when you are ready to put the hoe down and go to the house, you can do that too.

I've decided that I must be getting stronger as I get older. I didn't used to be able to carry $100 worth of groceries...now I can do it with one hand. Go figure.

In 1985, a man I used to work with told me "you know when you are getting old when it takes you all night to do what you USED to do all night." Well I don't thnink that I am that old, but it does take me longer to do what I used to do all night.

One thing "they" never told me about retirement is that you never get a day off.
