I saw a recent Ebay posting for a Ferguson TO20. The picture showed a Woods 5 foot belly mower attached to the TO 20. Has anyone ever mounted and used a belly mower on a TO35. How did it work?

I have about 2 acres of mowing to do. some is in pasture that is used as play field for the kids. The remainder is in christmas trees that I keep mowed between rows.

I have considered rotary and flail mower, but have never seen a belly mower for my 35. Which mower do you folks think would be best?

Will..... ..most belly mount mowers are NOT SATISFACTORY with low-to-the-ground utility tractors like yer TO-35. They are difficult to mount and reduce ground clearance and turn yer tractor into a 1-implement tractor.

Gitta 6-or-7ft 3-blade 3-point mount finish mower. You'll like the performance and the price. (belly mowers are EXPENSIVE)..... ..Dell

Agree with the hard to mount comment. I know someone who has a Woods mower under a similar tractor and it keeps the tractor tied up all summer- even the rear hitch has to be removed (for a big pulley on the pto). Would be better off with a 3 point hitch type, flails don't stick out so far behind.
