I ve taken out the clutch on my fordson dexter it is a double clutch. The rivets have sheered off on the boss on the drive clutch and the heads have worn off the bolts on the toggles. Can some one please help if i get new bolts what are the settings and are they special bolts and is there any tips on putting it back to together.

You could try "yellow pages" for clutch repairs/suppliers, or pop down to your local ag repairer, or visit the monthly collective sale at Cheffin"s Ely site (or their vintage auction later this month) and ask.....

It has to be a lot of work in splitting the tractor to get the clutch out and it probably needs more than you have observed. I would have it rebuilt by a clutch repair shop and get a job that will be right. I don't know where you are at but I had my cockshutt clutch rebuilt in Grand Rapids, Mi. by Teds Clutch and Axle. He does it as a sideline but I got a good job. He has a web page. Good luck and enjoy a great spring. Jerry
