I have eagle hitch on 2 case tractors. Works fine with some cat 1 3 pt equipment. Since the eagle hitch has no swing some cat 1 equipment is just slightly wide and won"t fit, particularly cheap foreign made items. I mean just 1/2 to 3/4 inches off. If the eagle hitch is a little worn and has some play in the arm width it will usuall fit. The other problem is the pto shaft often needs to be shortened on the implement. Works real fine if you don"t want any swing in the implement. Just remember that with the ridgid arms if the front end of your tractor moves left the rear of the implement goes right and visa versa, same as having sway bars on a swinging 3 point. The eagle hitch is easier to hook onto, but depending on how the pins are attached to the implement there may not be enough room for the latch.

I just got to use my Case 400 with eagle hitch for the first time this week and it worked great on all of my impliments actually better than the 3 point on my international,I was told I would have to have the original top link which I bought on ebay for a rediculous amount of money the top link I got at the farm fleet for 15.00 worked great I just had to grind a little on the ball end so it would fit on the bracket it worked just fine and didnt interfere with the hydraulic unit or anything else,I tried it on my box blade, rototiller ,plow everything worked just fine! I have a Case VAC and it has the eagle hitch and I use 3 point equipment all the time with no trouble. In fact I just bought a pole boom and that works great on the eagle hitch..

I was at the John deere factory last year in Iowa. They were building new JD tractors with the
eagle hitch design to be shipped out of the country. That's a lot better looking system than a 3pt,and you don't need a quick hitch.
