Nope Magman I don"t have a "parts house", but After 2 years of refurbishing old red iron, sometimes I think I could have. Thought I would bring this over to this forum so the OT police wouldn"t get me. I think we would have more luck with the "Sportster SHTALP" if we got hold of Mikey. He has more of a sense of humor than Junior does, and about as many good "idears" as Senior. I tell you what, I can"t tell much difference between Senior and Boyd Cottington, but about the 13th pressure deadline in a row, and somebody would be going out back of the shed. I know, it"s just a show, but it gets the juices flowing anyway the way they treat their help, knowing they are going to reap the windfalls.

Anyway, I like your idear about the 883 H. But with just a little imagination, maybe we could make it a 134 cu. in. monster. We"d have the room in that frame. Can you hear that bad boy going down the track and coming under load? How bad would that be. At least till it got hot and threw pieces of molten aluminum all over three counties. Anyway, keep the idears coming. Later, Harley

Hey!

No, by golly, I think I've got it!

You know what would really, really be unique?

An old straight H without the 3-point, without the added on hydraulics, without the fluffy red and while seat cover, without the fuel tank dipstick fuel gauge and without the flimsy little 2-ply tires all the way around.

And just for good measure, it definitely should not be equipped with the squirrely little steering knob.

Wouldn't that be neat? Hard to find those types anymore; I’m sure it would be an absolute and total showstopper. :>)

You got that right Allen, a straight, honest old H, what a unique rig, 6 ply tires and dirt on the platform. Almost heaven!

Hey Allan, while we're at it, let's give it a paint job reminiscent of how it would be fresh off the assembly line.

Oh heck, no.

And anything running 12 volts would be reason for dismissal from the games. :>)

How about if we do two, one Allan's way and the other sort of street rodded like Sloroll wants.

I don't know how much of these shows are staged but I know I could only work for Boyd about 2 hours before quiting. Unless they are making lots of money the pressure isn't worth it. Rick

You got that right Rick. My thinking is, if you wanted it earlier, you should have ordered it earlier. Down in Branson, 25 miles south of me, in the 80"S AND EARLY 90"S, everybody that had 2 nickels to rub together put up a motel, and they would start the 2nd day of January so they would be on a new tax year, and they would want to open up the first of April. Some of them made it and some of them didn"t. There"s just so many hours in a day. I sure don"t miss that pressure. Harley
