I am purchasing a Case 580 super k. I have been looking for alternative ways to pull it, rather then purchasing a dump truck. Our work truck is a Ford f250 reg. cab. 4x4 w/7.3 diesel (2000). Will it be too risky to pull this truck up to 30 miles from home. We are looking at a tripple axle trail king trailer with electric brakes all around, to pull the case with. Could someone give me some advise or concerns on this setup. Thanks

If you already have access to a good trailer, how about using a farm tractor to move the Case. 100-150 hp tractor can do the job in about two hours each way. My sons moved three house trailers and a combine as much as 90 miles with my tractors. Early Sunday, no permits, back roads, etc. 6-7 ton tractor is a good brake at 18 mph. My neighbor used a Versatile tractor and trailer to move his track hoe for several years after a DUI.

I assume you're talking some type of bumper hitch; personally, I'd be much more comfortable with a gooseneck/fifth wheel. Loading a few inches fore and aft (from optimum place) will make a BIG difference on the bumper and not much matter on the gooseneck. I've got an OLD Case 580 CK which I've moved for years behind a one-ton Dodge; wouldn't put it on a bumper hitch trailer. My opinion only..... .....

Bumper very bad idea. Gooseneck aaround here is a common place for thaat size equipment.

A local septic tank installer uses a 1 ton dodge single wheel diesel and a 24ft gooseneck to drag one all over ,so I really don't see a problem.

I live in ILL but if there is they leave him alone, but you may have to buy larger plates for your truck if the cops are horses butts where you live, but other than that you will have no problems.
