I just bought this post hole digger at a consignment sale. It appears to be all there and not have been used much. The gear case is very much intact.
Have any of you guys had any experience with this brand?
It is made by Indeprndent Manf. Co.of Neodesha Kansas, and by the appearance of labeling etc. I don't think it is more than 10 years old.
Thanks for any info. in advance.

THIS POSTHOLE DIGGER WAS MANUFACTURED AS THE TRADE NAME OF IMCO. THEY BUILT SHORT LINE SMALL 3PT EQUIPMENT FOR THE 30 TO 50 HP MARKET DURING THE 60S & 70S. THEY WERE BOUGHT OUT BY A CORPORATE GROUP IN THE LATE SEVENTYS AND THE WENT BROKE AND THE PLANT WAS AUCTION OFF IN ABOUT 1988.
IN THE 60S & 70S, THEY BUILT SOME OF THE BEST SHORT LINE EQUIPMENT EVER AND THEY WERE THE FIRST TO BUILD THE 5.5' BOX BLADE. MY PARENTS WERE IMPL.
DEARLERS AT THAT TIME AND WE SOLD A LOT OF THERE EQUIPMENT.

Thanks LSCUD for the reply.
I took the gear case cover off and the gears look great. The U-joints are tight so I will clean and paint and use!
Thanks again.
