Have never been successful trying to reach links as described above. Red X in a square box.

There is a limit to how many characters you can put in a subject, so like the pictures you can't see, we really can't see your question..... ;)

Anyhow, the red X means there should be a picture linked here, but I can't display it because I can't find it.

Two main reasons; Someone moved or deleted the picture - often times they only get displayed a month or 2, then get dumped to make room for more.

Or, the person who tried to put up the picture did not use the right address to 'point' to the picture.

Anyhow, it's not you; it's a picture that just can't be found anymore.

If the pix is at this or some other site on the web you may be able to view it.

Right click on the red X.
If "show picture" does not work, click on properties.
In the properties description will be a URL. Copy the URL (Hi-lite and then ctrl + c) and paste it up at the top of the page in the Address space & click Go or whatever your home page has.

Works sometimes.

The red X in a square box is the result of someone trying to post a picture. Either the person posting the pic did not use the correct procedure, or, the gremlins took over and it just did not appear. The dreaded X in the box is not a link to anything.
