I am mounting a DU All 125 loader on my ford 4000 SU. mounting the loader with a few modifications has been farly easy. I am not sure how to hook up the hydralic lines to the front mount pump though. the inlet and outlet lines on the controls are not as straight forward as on my other loader tractor. I cant find any owners or install manuals anybody know where I can find some. Thanks for the help. Ross

You can download the manual from Woods" website. This link should take you to their manual page. If not, go to woodsonline.com and click on the manual option on the left side of the page.

Open or closed center hydraulic valves(s)? The Ford 4000 is Likely open but I"m certain. Is the tractor properly ballasted? You don"t want to look like the geniuses who had a couple pictures of their JD 50 rowcrop in the stuck and troubled section of this site.

A couple of rules of theumbs for your hydraulic hook-up. On the control valve, most seperate relief valves will also contain or have a provision for a relief valve. This will be next to the inlet port. The outlet port will be on the right side. If you have a provision for two hoses on the outlet side you also have a power-beyond option. Also if you are using a seperate filter for the loade, place it between the outlet port of the valve and the return to the reservoir. Does that help any/ If not tell me what brand of remote valve your are using and if a Gresen give me a casting number. Questions?

The valve is a Gressen 2712 with only one port on the outlet side. I do not have the hose for the inlet side from the pump to the control valve not sure how big that hose should be.

That means the front spool has a "float pposition" Get me a U. S. mail address and I will send you some Gresen information in a couple of days. Also some of those valves are threaded for pipe thread and some for straight thread O-ring hose ends. Look at the threads and see if they go to the end or if there is a slight counterbore. Questions?

Mr Schwiebert ,If you would like just send me an E mail with your address and I can send you a S.A.S.E. for the info packet. or I could give you my address. The pipe fittings are the non o ring type. not sure of the pump make or capacity no markings at all it is aluminum though. the return line from the valve to the pump goes to the frame /oil tank then to the pump, funny thing is at the tank there is a T fitting. The line from the vave to the T is 1 1/4 od and from that point to the pump it is a 1 1/2 od line not sure why that is nessary.
Thanks Ross
