Thought there was a poll a while back and the photo ads would stay the same. I think they need to have a yearly supscription fee for dealer ads or something else. What do you all think?

i am starting to think of myself as somewhat of a dealer and don't feel right about abusing the free ads. I do post something for a friend from time to time but have pretty much quit posting my own stuff.

VERY happy to see the latest change. Once again, Kim is on top of things. Now there won't be the 35 odd adds fro the same junk every day.

It doesn't matter if there was a poll or not, as only ONE opinion really matters. This is a privately owned website, and Ms. Kim can do as she see's fit. (and usually she sees things the same way as the majority)

Thanks for your time! JMHO!

Did I miss something here? What is going to persuade the tractor jockeys to use the dealer section and pay for the ads?

You asked: "What is going to pursuade the tractor jockeys to use the dealer section and pay for the ads?"

I would hope that honor and self-respect would be enough... But if it isn't then they will simply lose the privilege of posting ads completely. There are many people watching out for YT who will probably let me know it's happening.

Next change - search by State!!

Kim

Kim,

I like the change and feel that the dealer section is appropriate. However, as of now none of the usual suspects have placed a pay per dealer ad. Stange thing is some other ads have the usual address with different names. It's almost going to have to come down to allowing a certain number of ads per ip address per month with a cost per each after the limit.

Hooray! No more searching for OK and getting ads that contain information about OK tires, etc. Thank you.
