Hi I just bought this Ford 3000. I am going to use it around my garage moving snow and maybe rock-raking the driveway etc. I rebuild transmissions in my garage so it won't get alot of use.
I need a weight box or make a cement weight and chains. It has 16.9 X 24 tires. At some point I will need rear wheels as these are rusted pretty good. So is this the place to be or do you have a suggestion of where I can go for stuff. I haven't got the manuels yet they where supposed to be with the tractor so year unknown right now. It is gas. So used parts are best for me.

Welcome there, Harold. From where you are now, Tractor Talk, you can probably get a lot of generalized help, and some good help. But as with any make or model of tractor, you can click onto them below and get very specific help about anything and everything that you may want from folks that, well...be my guest. Click on "Ford" once and ask anything you want about that 3000, and someone will gladly help you. Is much more specific.

Welcome again.

Mark

Measure the hub on the wheel and look at how many hubs. I would buy after market rims unless you can find a really nice used pair. Our TN65 has 16.9x24 that need to be taken off and replaced with 30's. If I can talk my dad into doing this I'll let you know. Feel free to e-mail. The tractor is in Ky.
