I don't consider it that old, I have a 78 model 20' setting here I might have to clean up and repair to use again, was thru the ringer when I got it, used for a few year was able to get a verry nice 89 model 24' used since but I hope the Insurance company will not insistance on totatling since the Jan. ice storm here in Ohio done several thousand dollars damage to it, holes thru the Roof, TV antenna busted, top of refrigerator busted, awning tore off(Was rooled up in storage)siding tore off. First one is all I have left of first part of farm after nursing caused sale of it in 93, 89 all that is left of most of rest of farm after nursing home bills caused sale before bankrepcty, 12 acres left out of 148 acres

Congratulations MSB,
You will love it.
If you happen to get up this here way with it, stop in. The coffee"s nearly always ready.
I spend most of my weekends in mine in the summer.
Mostly just keep it parked at the lake though.
Yahoo Groups have some real active forums/groups.
You have to join (free) but there"s some good, helpful folks on there.
Keep on camping,
Jerry

Here's a link to my cousin's wqeb site. He retired in 2000, sold his house and has been on the road ever since. The site has picture alblums and operating costs of his trips.

Congrats on your purchase. Hope you enjoy using it. Whether or not that makes you a redneck or not I don't know, but if you go RVing you"ll be hanging out with a few! The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee Ga. is my favorite campground. It is surrounded by Lake Chatuge, with the Smoky Montains all around in the background. You can look it up on the web. Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World is great also, especially if you"ve got kids/grandkids/somebody elses kids/you're a big kid yourself. At Creekside RV Park, Sevierville TN (near Pigeon Forge)we were parked on the bank of the Little Pigeon River! Talk about some good sleeping! Everyone I"ve met in campgrounds is just regular "folks"--either working for a living or retired from working for a living. Everyone has been polite and neighborly, too. Farmers, electricians, doctors, businessmen, steel workers, teachers, etc. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever met a lawyer in a campground. Go figure.

Best of luck!
John
