Sign up at Image Event and post your brains out...they support LOTS of different venues AND they are always there for assistance (talkin' 2 am Sundays!).

Hi,

There are a couple of ways to do it. One is to paste your excel graphic into a graphics program and save as a .jpg or .gif file. Another is to just use excel. When in excel, select your entire graphic with your mouse. Go to file > "save as web page" and make sure the radio button is checked for "selection" and not "entire workbook". Select a location on your hard disc and name the file something like xxx.htm. Using windows explorer, go to the location on your hard disc where you saved the file. There will be a file called xxx.htm and a new folder called "xxx_files". Inside the "xxx_files" folder will be a .gif file. That's your graphic that you saved when you were in excel. Rename it to something appropriate and upload it to this site in the "community album" area. I am assuming you know how to upload a graphic and how to get that graphic into your post box.

This should work, at least with Excel 2000 or later, provided you can separate your graphic from any text. Do your text writeup directly in the post box.

I don't think this site will accept anything up-loaded directly from your PC into the forums. The diagram will first need to be uploaded to a website so that it is on the WWW somewhere. Once it is on the internet, then you can drag it in here.

Additionally..... ..I think it will only except jpeg or gif formats (could be thinking of another forum); I've been wrong before (my mother never thought so, but my wife does)..... ..

May have to convert it to a jpg or some other graphic format. I am sure MS docs are rejected and the server is only accepting std. graphic formats. HTH
