Where can I get pistons and rings for a power block? I have a 60 JD with a power block that needs overhauled. I don't have a clue where to get parts for it.

The cast iron sleeves in those TSC Power-Blocs is very soft. Those pistons may measure up to nearly new specs. Don't over heat or hot tank the block in acid or caustic, just dish soap and hot water. If you ruin a 40+ year old O-ring, get the cheque book and crying towel out ready. I just put thinwall dry sleeves inside the TSC wet sleeves and run the stock bore and TSC pistons. Works great on the 50. As the sleeves have to be slid in from the back. We had to heat the power block up and chill the sleeves and slid them in quick and careful. Managed to get about a 2 thou interference fit.

John Deere did not make nor endorse the power blocks. They won't have the pistons or rings. You need to try somebody like Hinrichs Repair. I don't have their info, but hopefully someone will post it for you.
