Can hardly wait to get off of work! Fields been sitting idle all winter. Gonna get out there tonight and kick those OLIVERs in the arse. Hope to see that dirt a flyin' - ain't no "no-till" here at my place as the equipment is to spendy for me.

Wishing ya'll in the Nawthern Tier a good spring when it arrives.

Hey Shep. You for got the Tee Hee salutation to your well wishing for the northern tier guys...

I'm still knee deep in mud and with it raining every couple of days, everything is a quagmire. At least below freezing things are hard (till thaw) and if the snow isn't blocking you you can still get around. But then there is that 32 degree F thing you know with water pipes and cranky diesels that usually need some kind of coaxin go pay their way.


Did you get any hurricane damage this past year? If so how did it impact your farmin plans for this year?

Little different in Central NY. What a difference a thousand or so miles makes. Just getting ready to tap maple trees here. Snows just melted enough where gettting around the woods is not too bad. Hope to be plowing 2-3 months.
