They cant cash a U.S postal money order in Canada? Never heard of such a thing.Seems like one of those would be more favored than one from the local Quik Fill.They said it was posted on the website hmmm, never seen it,oh well,go figure.

With Canadian purchases mentioned here lately. One recurring theme; lack of communication between buyer and seller. Pay attention, folks, it isn't always the other guys fault!

I have sold a few small items to US people and some of them can't even find a post office to buy the international money orders, a lot of them don't even keep them around. I always suggest just a plain old bank money order which seems to work well and no red tape, etc.

It has to be an "international" money order. Domestic money orders in either Canada or the US are only good in the county of issue. It's because with cheque/money orders etc. clearing being so automated now they have to clear through special accounts in Toronto and New York for international exchange. The domestic money orders are not set up to route this way.
