How do I attach the single acting cylinder on the mixer to the hydraulics on my 2N or my 8N?

Thanks
Joe

Joe,
There is a port on the right front of your hydraulic pump. You can connect there. However, since there is only one hytrol lever, you would have to chain the lift down in order to use the lever to control the cylinder.

If you can find an old TransMix mixer, you won't need a hydraulic toplink. The lift arms do all the work when it comes to dumping. This mixer is on my Ford 850, but it was originally on a 2N.

My dad-in-law had a mixer like this that we used here in the 70's. It worked like a charm. Great advantage you can drive up and dump where you need to. Wish I would have bought it when it sold, never see any at auctions.

Ditto. My dad and mom poured all the slab around and throug the loafing barn on our dairy back in the 50's- Dad worked out as a carpenter during the day, so they strung lights and did it at night- one mixerload at a time. He had more gumption than I do, I'm not ashamed to say. He passed away at 85 last year.

You would have to get an adaptor plate that bolts to the flat plate on the right under the seat
